I recently stayed at Travelodge Birmingham Central Newhall Street for two nights and had a pretty good experience overall. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making my stay enjoyable, and my room was clean and smelled fresh. However, my only drawback was the view from my window, which looked out at a construction site. Even so, I’d definitely come back again!
My room was lovely and clean, though we had a strong smell of fresh paint, which was a bit overwhelming at times.
The staff were incredibly helpful and gave outstanding service, always greeting me with a smile.
The hotel is right in the center of Birmingham, with easy access to attractions like the Bullring shopping centre and Arena Birmingham.
Breakfast was solid—there were plenty of hot options to choose from, just what I needed to start my day.
The hotel has decent facilities like an NCP car park nearby, making it easy to park my car for just £7.50 for 24 hours.

I had a lovely stay at Travelodge Birmingham Central Newhall Street. The location was convenient, being just a short walk from various attractions, though the storage space in the room could have been better. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making my visit enjoyable. Overall, my experience was positive, but there is room for improvement in room facilities.
The room was a nice size but lacked sufficient clothing storage for three people, with only one hanging rail and no drawers.
Staff members, especially Victoria and Justin, were exceptionally welcoming and always ready to help with a smile.
The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance to the city center and nearby attractions like the Birmingham Arena.
The breakfast was sufficient but didn't stand out – I found the options typical for a budget hotel.
Facilities like the on-site Coop were a bit disappointing for snacks, and some supplied items like towels were minimal.

I recently stayed at Travelodge Birmingham Central Newhall Street, and it was a decent experience overall. The rooms were clean and spacious, which I really appreciated, though the facilities felt a bit basic and could use a refresh. I had a couple of issues with noise from nearby construction work and some chilly breakfast options, but the staff were friendly and helpful, which definitely brightened my stay.
My room was clean, spacious, and provided nice bathroom amenities, though it could use a decor update.
Staff were really welcoming and helpful, especially when I arrived late due to travel delays.
The hotel's location was super convenient, just a short walk to the Bullring shopping area and other attractions.
I found the breakfast a bit disappointing with some cold dishes, though the toast and cereals were fine.
Facilities were basic, and parking was limited, with a separate lot a short walk away, which was a bit of a hassle.

My stay at Travelodge Birmingham Central Newhall Street had its highs and lows. The location was quite convenient, being close to the Birmingham Arena and several shops. However, my experience was marred by a few issues in the room and a slight lack of staff responsiveness. Overall, I could see potential but felt there were key areas needing improvement.
My room was basic but adequate with a king-size bed. Unfortunately, it overlooked a noisy building site, making it difficult to leave the window open for fresh air.
The staff were friendly at check-in, but I didn't feel my concerns were fully addressed when I pointed out the issues with my room.
The hotel’s proximity to the Birmingham Arena made it easy to get to events, and there was a CoOp next door for convenience.
Breakfast was satisfactory with good variety, including options for a full English or lighter fare like cereals and toast.
While the cafe was clean and offered a comfortable space, I felt the overall facilities were quite basic, lacking certain amenities that could enhance the experience.

I had a decent stay at the Travelodge Birmingham Central Newhall Street. The location is great for events, and I appreciated the clean and comfortable room, although I was disappointed by the breakfast quality. Noise from nearby deliveries was an issue for me, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I'd say it was a solid choice for a budget hotel.
The room was clean and spacious with fresh bedding, plus a fan for the warm weather. However, I did experience noise from construction work next door.
The staff were friendly and attentive, especially when I arrived late due to train strikes. They provided outstanding service with a smile, which really improved my experience.
Being near the Jewellery Quarter and close to event venues like Arena Birmingham made it super convenient for me. Plus, good access to public transport.
Breakfast was disappointing for me. The hot food was barely warm, and I found the sausages to taste off after the first day. I mostly stuck to toast and cereal.
The hotel offered modern amenities like a café and a bar, which I found convenient. However, the noise from deliveries impacted my overall comfort.
